London born artist/designer Christopher Jenkins studied illustration at Falmouth College of Art. He has since created large public artworks, sculptures, installations, window displays and interactive public engagement events. A wide imagination, combined with a practical skill set and professional approach have allowed him to deliver bespoke and thoughtful solutions to a wide range of solo and collaborative projects, working with composers, performance artists and musicians as well as galleries, corporate clients and local authorities.
Located on the south coast of England, his studio work stems from the post-industrial landscape of London where he was born. History and landscape entwined in a constant movement of people, agendas and desires. This work features intricate sculptures, installations and paintings that explore the fabric of our most basic needs, shelter.
